when I think of the important moments of my life, I am transported to where I was when they happened. the emotions and the people are vivid, and they are choreographed through space. experience as defined by space, space as defined by architecture. architecture forms the syntax of our shared cultural language - it grounds the long-form tastes, expressions, and commentaries of our time. what I want is to expand this language into a conversation that addresses the issues of our time. where consumption, abstraction, and alienation push us away from each other, architecture is uniquely positioned to bring us back.
